Ross officials looking at runoff problems on Main Boulevard

Ross officials will look into problems with runoff from the township-owned portion of Main Boulevard, which is impacting residents on the private portion of the same road.
Jeremy Wazniak told commissioners Monday that the owners of the seven homes on the private end of the street pay $6,000 a year to put new gravel on the road when the old gravel is washed away. He asked if something could be done to mitigate the runoff.
"We're not asking for a public roadway," he said. "We just want the damage that this is causing to be fixed."
Township Manager Doug Sample said he, public works Director Mike Funk and township engineer Rick Minsterman visited the street and will have a report for commissioners at their April 1 meeting.
