Propane truck wrecks into Beaver County creek

A propane truck overturned into a creek in Beaver County this morning.

The wreck was reported at 10:44 a.m. on Route 51 at Wildwood Drive in Patterson, a Beaver County dispatch supervisor said. The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital, but the extent of his injuries was unknown.

No leaks from the propane truck had been reported this morning.

The Beaver County hazardous materials team was also dispatched to the scene. Route 51 in both directions remained closed about 45 minutes after the crash.

Patterson police are investigating.
