Police seek robber of McCandless bank

The FBI is investigating the robbery Thursday of the First National Bank on Duncan Avenue in McCandless.
Agents said a man entered the bank at 9:15 a.m., demanded money and made a threat about having a weapon. He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The FBI provided no description of the man other than to say he is black and in his 40s or 50s.
McCandless police are assisting in the investigation. Anyone with information about the robber can call police at 412-369-7992 or the FBI at 412-432-4000.
