Allegheny County detectives are investigating after Springdale police found a Minnesota man dead in the bathtub at a friend's apartment early today, borough police Chief Joe Naviglia said.

The Allegheny County medical examiner's office identified the man as 48-year-old Kenneth Rodeski of Little Falls, Minn.

Police were dispatched about 2 a.m. to the apartment in the 1000 block of Keene Street. Chief Naviglia said the death was "suspicious in nature." Allegheny County homicide Lt. Andrew Schurman later said police were looking at the death as a possible overdose. The medical examiner's office is awaiting the results of additional tests before releasing the cause and manner of death.
