The outbound side of Route 28 in Sharpsburg has reopened after being closed for more than an hour by police.

State police closed the highway from Etna to the Highland Park Bridge to perform a crash reconstruction. The on-ramp from Route 8 to outbound Route 28 also was closed.

A two-car crash in that area killed an 18-year-old girl Feb. 17. Rikki Fleming of Etna was driving outbound at about 11:15 p.m. when she was struck from behind, causing her vehicle to leave the road and roll over.

Although she was wearing a seat belt, according to police, she was ejected from the vehicle.

No charges have been filed against the other driver, identified by police as Jared Schillinger, 28, of Cheswick.
