One killed in Mercer County fire

Fire crews worked late into the night to clean up after a fire that left one person dead in Mercer County Monday.
Emergency dispatchers received a call at 8:24 p.m. for a fire at 1700 Perry Highway in Springfield, a dispatch supervisor said. One adult died in the fire. The person's identity and age were not released Monday night.
There were no other injuries, the supervisor said.
