FUNDRAISERS

Sewickley -- St. James Catholic Parish, 200 Walnut St., and the Knights of Columbus Council 5367 will hold an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Proceeds benefit St. James School's 8th grade class. Cost: Adults, $5; children under 5, $3. Information: 412-741-6650.

Hampton -- The Knights of Columbus Council 14722 and Squires Circle 5444 will sponsor a supersized breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 2510 Middle Road. Donations will be accepted to support parish sponsored seminarians.

CLASSES

O'Hara -- New classes for all ages are taking place at Boyd Community Center, 1220 Powers Run Road. For a list of classes, schedules and fees visit www.boydcommunitycenter.org.

LIBRARIES

Hampton -- Hampton Community Library, 3101 McCully Road, will host Sarah Sudar, Julia Gongaware, Amanda McFadden and Laura Zorch -- the authors of "Food Lovers Guide to Pittsburgh: The Best Restaurants, Markets & Local Culinary Offerings" -- at 6:30 p.m. next Thursday. They will discuss their popular blog, eatPGH, and share recipes from some of the area's top chefs. Fee: $2. Registration: 412-684-1098.

MEETINGS

Cranberry -- The Cranberry Genealogy Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the Cranberry Township Library, 2525 Rochester Road. The topic will be military records.

Ross -- The Ross Township-West View Chapter of the Women's Business Network will meet at 7:30 a.m. next Thursday at Panera Bread, 7217 McKnight Road. The group meets monthly on the second and fourth Thursdays. Information: Sarah Spartano at 412-915-1699.

SPECIAL INTEREST

Aspinwall -- Folktales From Around the World, a free family friendly event, sponsored by Aspinwall Civic Association, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, at Aspinwall Municipal Building located at 217 Commercial Ave. Refreshments will be served.

SUPPORT

Valencia -- CrossWay Church, 109 Davis Road, will host a DivorceCare for Kids program, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. starting Monday. The program is a special group to help children ages 5 through 12 heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. Information: 724-898-4600.

TALKS

Cranberry -- Aviation expert Buzz Conroy will discuss data recording devices cased in specially designed protective metal containers and the role they play in determining the causes of plane crashes, at 7:15 p.m. next Thursday at Sherwood Oaks, 100 Norman Drive.
