FUNDRAISER

Sewickley -- The Ohio Township Volunteer Fire Company is sponsoring their 12th Annual Golf Outing on Sept. 4 at the Diamond Run Golf Club on Laurel Oak Drive. The cost is $150 per golfer which includes greens fees, cart, gift, lunch, a German dinner and skill prizes. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Ohio Township Volunteer Fire Company. LIBRARIES

Cranberry -- The Friends of the Cranberry Public Library is collecting gently used books for its fall book sale. Donations can be dropped off at the library on Rochester Road now through October 23. Information: 724 776-9100.

SEMINAR

McCandless -- Cumberland Woods Village, on the UPMC Passavant Campus, will host Ed Reis, resident Westinghouse historian, at 11 a.m Tuesday, he will appear in period costume as George Westinghouse to share his accomplishments in first person. Cumberland Woods Village, is located at 700 Cumberland Woods Drive. Reservations: 412-635-8080.
