CONCERT

Hampton -- An ensemble of the River City Brass Band will perform a free show at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hampton Fields Village, 4480 Mount Royal Blvd.

GARDEN TOUR

Shaler -- The Great Gardens Tour will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 8. The Shaler Garden Club and the Shaler North Hills Library have partnered to host the tour. Tickets are on sale at the library and include visits to five gardens, refreshments and a raffle ticket. Tickets: $12 in advance, $15 day of tour. Information: 412-486-0211.

SPECIAL INTEREST

Hampton -- The Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Recorder Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hampton Community Center, 3101 McCully Road, for two hours of group play and instruction from music director Fred Moyes. Musicians of any level and children are welcome. Some instruments will be available for loan. Bring a music stand. Information: 412-486-6000.
