Fox Chapel -- Fox Chapel Area High School will sponsor the first-ever Western Pennsylvania Summer STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math and medicine) academy. The four-week academy will run from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, July 9 through Thursday in the high school. Cost is $400. Participants will earn a certificate of completion. Troy Hill -- Most Holy Name Parish, 1700 Harpster St., will hold its annual summer festival from 7 to 10 p.m. June 13 and 14; and from 7 to 11 p.m. June 15 and June 16. The event includes a roast beef dinner at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 16, which costs $8.50. There will also be a patriotic flag-lowering ceremony, bingo, silent auctions, ticket auctions, new games for both children and adults, an iPad raffle, inflatables and rides, live drawings for $10,000 and more. Pine -- Pine Parks & Recreation Commission, Billco Volkswagen Mazda and Friends of Pine Community Parks will sponsor free movies in the park: Wednesday, "Shark Tale;" July 18, "Puss in Boots;" August 1, "Little Giants;" August 15, "Dolphin Tale." All movies are rated PG.

Butler -- Butler County Symphony Association will hold its first garden tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 16. The self-guided tour is a fundraising event for the Symphony and will include six Butler-area gardens. Tickets, $15 pre-sale or $20 on the day of the tour, are available at the Symphony office, 259 S. Main St.; Meridian Gift Shop, 298 Meridian Road; and Smith's Florist, 136 N. Northern Tier Regional Library, 4015 Dickey Road, will hold the following programs:
• Registration for the library's summer reading program starts June 18.
• Elementary-school-age children are invited to the Dream Big activity program on Mondays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Registration is not required.
• Stories and crafts for preschool and elementary-age kids from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays. Registration is not required.
• Super Saturdays, a program for upper elementary and middle school students from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays.

Moon -- The Chamber will sponsor an Employment Seminar for veterans from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 14 at Army Strong Community Center, 99 Soldiers Lane.
