Aspinwall -- Aspinwall Presbyterian Church, 299 Center Ave., will host the annual World Day of Prayer service at 11 a.m. March 2 in the church sanctuary. Richland -- First Presbyterian Church Of Bakerstown, 5825 Heckert Road, will host a production of "Esther, the Musical" at 7:30 p.m. March 2 and 2 p.m. March 3, presented by the Jeannie Allen Productions Theater Group. Butler -- Victim Outreach Intervention Center will hold its Mardi Gras gala at 7:30 p.m. March 24 at The Mansion, 141 Mansion Lane. The gala will feature games, raffles and more. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Proceeds will benefit survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes. North Side -- "Everything is Fine" a play created by Prime State Theatre's Teen Board in the wake of the death of Demi Cuccia, a 16-year-old Gateway High School student who was killed by her ex-boyfriend, will be performed at the New Hazlett Theater, 6 Allegheny Square East, at 7:30 p.m. next Thursday. Butler -- Lifesteps will hold a free child development screening from 8 a.m. to noon Monday at the Butler County Program Center, 383 New Castle Road. A child check visit takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, with the results discussed immediately with the parents. Appointments are recommended, but are not required.
