Fox Chapel Area

The high school's Distinguished Ethnic Society of Indians Club has donated $1,200 to the Homeless Children's Education Fund of Pittsburgh -- the largest amount the club has raised in its 13 years.

The club raised the money by organizing an annual show highlighting the culture of South Asia through music, dance, food and fashion. The show drew an audience of more than 250.

Seneca Valley

Evans City elementary and middle schools raised $10,604 for the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute during their recent fifth annual Saulle's Teddy bear parade on the school grounds.
