Deborah Grass, a senior associate for Delta Development Group Inc., will remain interim borough manager for the rest of this year.

The borough has been without a permanent administrator since council approved manager Virginia Pucci's resignation March 13. Borough officials have declined to comment on the circumstances regarding the resignation.

Ms. Grass said the borough has no plans to find a replacement for Ms. Pucci until the first of the year when the budget is adopted and more time is available to focus on hiring a manager.

Commissioners have approved a $416,716 contribution for 2013 to Northland Public Library -- a 3 percent increase from this year's amount, but nearly $10,000 less than 2011.

Ross contributed $404,346 this year and $426,321 in 2011, according to Sandra Collins, library director. The library's funding formula takes into account a municipality's population, assessed value and library usage.

In other action, commissioners announced Nov. 7 that they are down to three candidates for manager. Commissioner Chris Eyster said they hope to hire a new manager in December to start after Jan. 1.
