New Castle police arrest two in killing of boy, 16

New Castle police arrested two men today for the murder of a 16-year-old boy.

Marcus McCauley was shot in the head near Gaston Park on the east side of New Castle on Saturday.

Police arrested Christopher Nixon, 22, of New Castle, on charges of homicide, two counts of aggravated assault, robbery, theft and receiving stolen property. A second suspect, James Nixon, 18, of New Castle, was charged with conspiracy to commit homicide, conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit theft.

Both men are being held without bail at the Lawrence County Prison.
