Man dies following pool incident

An investigation is under way into the death of a Pittsburgh man who was pulled from the deep end of the swimming pool Saturday night at the Fox Chapel Racquet Club.
The Allegheny County medical examiner's office said an autopsy is pending for Alan Mason, 54, because the office is awaiting lab test results.
Police were summoned to the club at 355 Hunt Road at about 9:55 p.m. Mr. Mason was transported to UPMC St. Margaret where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room at 11:08 p.m.
A woman who answered the phone at the club Saturday night said the details of what happened were unclear.
