Motorcyclist killed when struck by van

A man was killed Sunday in O'Hara when his motorcycle collided with a van.
The Allegheny County medical examiner's office identified the man as Scott Duerstein, 30, of Sharpsburg.
The driver of a Dodge Caravan made a left turn out of a driveway in the 1600 block of Sharps Hill Road and struck Mr. Duerstein's motorcycle around 6:50 p.m.
Mr. Duerstein was taken to UPMC Presbyterian, where he was pronounced dead at 7:46 p.m.
