Motorcyclist killed in crash with van in O'Hara

A man was killed Sunday in O'Hara when his motorcycle was hit by a van.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the motorcyclist as Scott Duerstein, 30, of Sharpsburg.
The driver of a Dodge Caravan made a left turn out of a driveway in the 1600 block of Sharps Hill Road and struck Mr. Duerstein's motorcycle around 6:50 p.m.
Mr. Duerstein was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:46 p.m.
An autopsy was scheduled Monday.
