The Vincentian Regency nursing home announced today that it will stop running its traditional nursing operations and give patients a seven-month window to move to other facilities.

Robin Weber, spokeswoman for the Vincentian Collaborative System, said administrators expect the transition to be complete no later than June 30, 2013.

She said all employees will be affected in some way, though she would not specify whether any might be laid off.

The McCandless nursing home stopped admitting new patients this summer while its parent company reviewed long-term options for the facility, which operators said needed "potentially substantial" renovations.
