Despite uncertainty regarding the real estate assessment appeals, supervisors passed the township's $5,395,857 budget for 2013 during Monday night's regular meeting. However, they tabled the task of setting the millage rate until Senior Common Pleas Judge R. Stanton Wettick Jr. delivers post-appeal property values.

According to Manager Neil McFadden, depending on the timing of the judge's ruling, the board may end up adopting Marshall's current millage rate, which has remained unchanged at 1.7 mills for more than a decade, on December 17th.

The 2013 budget includes an allocation of $960,000 for road resurfacing projects.
