Mars Area High School activities canceled after bomb threat

All evening activities at Mars Area High School are canceled tonight because of a bomb threat.
Superintendent William Pettigrew sent a letter to parents to say the threat was discovered during the afternoon, and high school students were evacuated to Mars Area Middle School.
Adams Township police swept the school this afternoon, and will search again Tuesday morning before students and staff arrive.
