Man dies in Connoquenessing Township crash

A man was killed this morning when a vehicle crossed the center line of Route 68 in Butler and hit the truck he was driving head-on, police said.

Justin Enslen, 25, of Renfrew was driving a Dodge Ram eastbound in Connoquenessing when he hit a westbound Nissan Frontier around 10:40 a.m., according to a press release from Pennsylvania State Police.

The Frontier's driver, Mark Bishop, 52, of Butler, died in the crash. The passenger, Holly Merkner, 41, of Lyndora, suffered minor injuries.

Mr. Enslen suffered moderate injuries. It is unclear if he will be charged, police said. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
