Man charged with 700 felony counts in rapes of girl

A Mercer County man who police say raped a girl at least 100 times over an eight-year period was arrested Monday on 700 felony counts.

Blaise Paul Tunstall, 67, of Jamestown, is being held in the Mercer County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Police say Mr. Tunstall abused the girl from about 2004, when she was 7 years old, through 2012, at various locations in Greene, Mercer County.

He has been charged with 100 felony counts each of rape of a child; statutory sexual assault; involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor; unlawful contact with a minor; aggravated sexual assault; indecent assault; and corruption of minors.
