The FBI is seeking the public's help identifying a man who robbed a bank this morning in McCandless.

The man, described only as black and in his 40s or 50s, walked into the First National Bank at 1700 Duncan Ave. about 9:15 a.m. and demanded money, a spokeswoman wrote in a news release.

He threatened a weapon but did not brandish one. He then left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police are urging anyone with information about his identity to contact the McCandless Police Department at 412-369-7992 or the FBI field office at 412-432-4000.
