Family forced by fire from West Deer home

A family was forced from its home this morning when fire ripped through the building along Dawn Road. No one was hurt.

Three adults and three children were displaced.

The American Red Cross of Western Pennsylvania is helping the family, said Dominique Buccina, a spokeswoman.

The fire broke out at about 6 a.m.

Damage estimates were not immediately available.
