Child critically hurt in mini-bike collision

A child was critically injured when the mini-bike he was operating crashed into a pickup truck in Lawrence County on Saturday.
An emergency dispatcher said the accident happened at 3:48 p.m. on Sunny Avenue in Union.
The child was taken by medical helicopter to a hospital. His identity and condition were not available.
