Butler County woman killed in fiery crash

A Butler County woman was found dead early yesterday in a car that had crashed and caught fire in Butler Township, police said.
The accident was reported at 12:44 a.m. yesterday on Mercer Road between Aubreys Drive and Dubbs Lane, township police said.
The driver, Lisa Comperatore, 39, of Butler, appears to have lost control of her pickup truck while driving south on Mercer Road.
The vehicle crossed the center line where it struck a utility pole and rolled over several times.
The truck came to rest on its passenger side and caught fire.
The blaze was extinguished by volunteer firefighters from Unionville and Mercer Road stations, police said.
Allegheny Power disconnected service temporarily, and the road was shut down until the accident was cleared, police said.
