Hampton man sentenced in Route 28 drunk-driving death

A Hampton man was sentenced to three to six years in prison today for killing a man in a drunk-driving crash last year.
Aaron K. Stevens, 22, was sentenced by Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Thomas Flaherty.
Mark Trimmer, 33, of Bellevue, was killed in the crash June 5, 2011. Stevens was found guilty of homicide by vehicle in a nonjury trial in June.
According to police, he was driving on Route 28 near the 31st Street Bridge with a blood-alcohol content of .133 when his vehicle struck another about 1:30 a.m.
