Woodland Hills schools to hold special meeting on relocation of offices

The Woodland Hills school board will reconvene a special legislative meeting at 7 p.m. Monday on the sale of its administrative building in Churchill.

The board is scheduled to vote on whether to sell the offices at 2430 Greensburg Pike to Trek Development and relocate its offices to the site of the former UPMC Braddock hospital.

More than a dozen residents of the 12 municipalities that make up the district spoke Wednesday night for and against the plan that would mean the demolition of the Churchill building. At least 48 units of senior housing would be erected on the site.
