Wilkinsburg has agreed to pay $54,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by a police lieutenant, the borough's solicitor said today.

Lieutenant Michele Krempasky-Proctor, who lives in Murrysville, sued the borough in December, alleging that her work schedule was changed and she was insulted after she was deposed in another lawsuit against the borough.

Solicitor Michael Witherel confirmed the settlement and declined further comment.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Maureen P. Kelly closed the case last month.
