A 17-year-old suspect from Wilkinsburg was held for court Friday in an Oct. 9 killing, and two others charged with him waived their preliminary hearings in Pittsburgh Municipal Court.

Jaykwaan Pinckney was ordered held for trial on charges of homicide, robbery and conspiracy in the death of Anthony Dawson, 25, of Wilkinsburg, who was found shot in the head inside an apartment where he was staying in the 1000 block of South Avenue.

County police said Mr. Pinckney and two other men, Christopher Williams, 17, of Wilkinsburg and Terrance Chatman, 20, of North Braddock conspired to rob and kill Mr. Dawson. Mr. Pinckney said Mr. Williams pulled the trigger.
