The Westmoreland County coroner's office said Tuesday there are no obvious signs of abuse in the autopsy done in the Monday death of a 2-month-old Hunker boy.
That office won't have results of toxicology and other laboratory tests for up to 10 weeks. Rulings on the cause and manner of death are pending those test results.
Trooper Stephen Limani of the Pennsylvania State Police Greensburg barracks confirmed that agency is investigating the infant's death. The boy, whose name is not being released, died in the emergency room of Excela Frick Hospital at 10:39 a.m, Monday, according to the coroner's office.
