A Stanton Heights man killed the mother of his 3-year-old son and her boyfriend early Sunday, creeping into their Wilkinsburg home as they slept, Allegheny County police said.
Joshua Wright, 23, was arrested early this morning and charged with two counts of homicide and burglary stemming from the deaths of Da'Shawna Gibson, 24, and Michael Black, 23, whose bodies were discovered Sunday in the bedroom of their home in the 500 block of Princeton Boulevard.
Both had been shot in the head, police said.

A roommate who was asleep on the living room floor heard someone walk up the stairs and then the sound of gunshots about 5 a.m., according to a criminal complaint. The witness could see Mr. Wright walking down the stairs and out a kitchen door, according to the complaint.
The same witness called 911 about nine hours later to report that the door to the kitchen was ajar.
Responding officers found the bodies of Mr. Black and Ms. Gibson. Police, who did not identify the witness, have not said why he or she waited so long to alert authorities.
Mr. Wright was captured at his mother's home in Murrysville and is in the Allegheny County Jail.
