South Braddock Avenue ramp to Parkway East closing

The ramp from northbound South Braddock Avenue to the inbound Parkway East will close from 9 p.m. today through 5 a.m. Monday for replacement of expansion dams, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

The ramp from southbound South Braddock to the parkway will remain open.

There are two posted detours: during daylight hours via South Braddock to a left on Forbes Avenue, left on Beechwood Boulevard and right on Forward Avenue; at night via Murray Avenue instead of Beechwood. The work is part of the $49.5 million Squirrel Hill Tunnel rehabilitation project.
