The eastbound ramp from Route 30 to Electric Avenue in Chalfant and North Braddock will be closed for two months starting Monday, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
The ramp will close at 7 a.m. as work begins on a $12.9 million bridge replacement project. Later this year, PennDOT will move all traffic to one bridge while it replaces the other, with one lane open in both directions. Replacement of the other bridge with a similar traffic pattern is scheduled next year.
