Allegheny County police are looking for a man driving a late-model silver Dodge Avenger whom they say was involved in the fatal shooting of a Braddock Hills teenager Tuesday afternoon.

The man was described as having a medium build and a light to medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, tan cargo shorts and a black baseball cap with a red brim.

The victim, whom family members identified as 18-year-old Brandon Johns, died of multiple gunshot wounds inside the vestibule of his grandmother's apartment in the Brinton Manor complex in Braddock Hills at about 4 p.m., according to Allegheny County Police Assistant Superintendent Jim Morton. Three black men -- one of them bleeding from a stomach wound -- were seen running away from the scene and driving away in the Avenger, he said.

About a half-hour later, that car was spotted outside UPMC McKeesport, where one of the three suspects took the man with the stomach wound into the emergency room, police said. That man is in custody, they said, but they are still looking for the third man, who drove away in the Avenger. Blood was seen on the passenger seat.

Anyone with information about the homicide, or the whereabouts of the third man or the silver Avenger should call Allegheny County police at 412-473-1200.
