Police investigate Swissvale shooting

One person was taken to a local hospital following a shooting in Swissvale late tonight.

An Allegheny County dispatch supervisor said the shooting took place around 10:45 p.m. in the 2400 block of Woodstock Avenue. He said county homicide is at the scene, but there was no word on the victim's condition.
