Natural gas service disrupted by crash

Natural gas service to an unknown number of homes was interrupted this morning when a car struck several gas meters on Torrence and Tunnel Hollow roads in Forward.

The incident happened at 1:54 a.m., according to an emergency dispatch supervisor.

Repairs were being made by workers from Columbia Gas.
