Man shot in Penn Hills

Penn Hills police are investigating after a man was shot in the torso this afternoon.
Stephen Nunley, 20, was taken to UPMC Presbyterian after he was shot at 247 Suncrest Drive about 1 p.m. Investigators said Mr. Nunley was able to speak but has not been cooperating with officers.
Witnesses told police they spotted Mr. Nunley chatting with two men in a white SUV with an Illinois license plate.
The SUV passenger was standing outside the car when he shot Mr. Nunley and then ran away, police said.
