Indiana County jail guard accused of sex with inmate

A correctional officer in Indiana County faces charges that she had sex with an inmate.
Anna Grafton, 25, of Indiana, Pa., was arrested for institutional sexual assault and fired from the Indiana County Jail on Friday. She worked as a correctional officer at the jail for three years.
Trooper Timothy Lipniskis of state police in Indiana County said inmates reported that Ms. Grafton had sex with a male inmate at the facility on the night of May 25 into the next morning.
He said the relationship with the inmate, who is serving a sentence for aggravated assault, was consensual.
Ms. Grafton was arraigned and released on $10,000 bond.
