The Pennsylvania Turnpike will be closed in both directions between Monroeville (Exit 57) and Irwin (Exit 67) for several hours early Sunday.

The turnpike will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Saturday through 4 a.m. Sunday during demolition work on part of the Route 130 bridge over the toll road in Westmoreland County. The recommended detour follows Route 22, Turnpike 66 and U.S. 30. Route cards will be available to exiting drivers at both interchanges.

Route 130 traffic may be stopped for up to 15 minutes at a time during the work.
