Indiana County teen dies of crash injuries

A boy who was struck by a car last week in Rayne, Indiana County, has died, state police said.
Richard Scalise, 13, of Indiana, Pa., was walking on the side of Route 286 Wednesday afternoon when he walked into the road and was struck by a vehicle, state police said. He was thrown onto the opposite side of the road, where he was struck by a second vehicle.
Neither driver was charged.
Richard was flown to Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown, Cambria County, where he died Friday.
