CAMPUS EVENTS

Hempfield -- The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, 150 Finoli Drive, off Mount Pleasant Road, will host a Presidential Debate Watch from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Monday in room 118 in Village Hall. A presentation by the students in Argument Class and discussion will begin at 8 p.m., prior to the debate. Small group discussions will follow. Information: 724-836-7741.

CONCERTS

Hempfield -- The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra will sponsor a performance by the Curtis Piano Trio at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Mary Lou Campana Chapel and Lecture Center on the University of Pittsburgh's Greensburg campus, 150 Finoli Drive, off Mount Pleasant Road, as part of its Chamber Music Series. Greensburg -- The Westmoreland Cultural Trust will sponsor the following shows. Tickets: 724-836-8000.

• The Clarks, 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets: $23. A portion of the proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region.

• From the Top Live, featuring young local classical musicians, 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets: $28, $18 for students. The program is being taped for broadcast in December and January on National Public Radio. Sponsored in conjunction with Seton Hill University.

• Rick Springfield, 8 p.m. next Thursday. Tickets: $45-$85. Presented by Latshaw Productions.

• Gospel singer David Phelps, 2 and 7 p.m. Oct. 26. Tickets: $28-$48. Presented by Latshaw Productions.

FUNDRAISING

Churchill -- The Ladies of Charity of St. John Fisher Catholic Parish, 33 Lewin Lane, will hold a Festa Italiana from 7:15 to 11 p.m. Saturday in Beaufort Hall. Jimmy Sapienza and Five Guys Named Moe will provide live music. Cost: $30. Information: 412-241-4722.

McKeesport -- Penn State University will hold its annual All That Jazz fundraiser at 7 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Student Community Center on its Greater Allegheny campus, 4000 University Drive. An auction also will be held. Performers will be Benny Benack Jr. and III. Cost: $100 per person, $900 for a table of 10. Proceeds benefit the branch campus' scholarship fund. New Kensington -- Alle-Kiski Faith in Action will sponsor an Autumn Fest Dinner and Show from 5 to 10 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Clarion Hotel, 300 Tarentum Bridge Road. Don Aliquo Sr. will perform. Greensburg -- The National Catholic Center for Holocaust Education at Seton Hill University will hold the following programs at 7:30 p.m. in Cecilian Hall in the administration building in recognition of the 25th anniversary of the Ethel LeFrak Holocaust Education Conference.
