Katrina Burkett of Export won this year's Women's Business Network Jean Walsh Scholarship.

She will apply the $500 to continuing education, focusing on tutoring and training in technology and marketing.

Ms. Burkett is co-owner of the Huntington Learning Centers in Monroeville, Greensburg, and North Hills. The centers work with students of all ages to improve reading, writing, math, study and test taking skills.

She is a member of the WBN-Murrysville chapter and has served in a number of leadership roles,

The scholarship, awarded each December, honors the late Ms. Walsh, who helped establish WBN.
