Crash kills driver in Somerset County

A Somerset man died when his car struck a drainage ditch and rolled over Thursday morning.
State police said Joshua Berkey, 28, was driving east on state Route 653 when he lost control of his Jeep Grand Cherokee near Harvest Drive, hit a drainage ditch and rolled over. Mr. Berkey was thrown from the car and pronounced dead shortly afterward.
His 9-month-old daughter, who was strapped into a car seat, was taken to Conemaugh Hospital with minor injuries.
