Cambria County jail inmate found dead was strangled

A jail inmate in Cambria County was strangled with a bedsheet on Saturday.

The coroner's office said William Sherry, 27, of North Cambria, was found dead in his cell at the Cambria County Prison at 10:06 p.m.

Authorities believe Mr. Sherry was killed by his roommate, but the man has not yet been charged or named.
