An Armstrong County man was being held in jail today on charges that he supplied two teenage girls with alcohol and then "engaged in unwanted sexual acts."

Justin Hooks, 23, of Kittanning, faces charges of indecent assault, corruption of minors and other offenses. State police said in a news release that Mr. Hooks contacted a 16-year-old girl over Facebook and invited her to go camping with him last weekend.

Troopers said Mr. Hooks picked up the girl and a 15-year-old friend on Friday night and took them to buy alcohol, a tent, shot glasses, food and other supplies before driving into a wooded area. Police said the three drank alcohol and Mr. Hooks then began taking "inappropriate photos" of the pair and "engaged in unwanted sexual acts."

The girls told police they ran into the woods and hid for three hours, during which time they called a friend who contacted state police. They said they went back to the tent because they didn't know where they were and "were hoping that they could get a ride" from Mr. Hooks, who they said then forced the 16-year-old girl into a sexual act.

Mr. Hooks was arrested Sunday and remains in jail on $25,000 bail, according to online court records.
