Afternoon crash kills one person in Ligonier

A Ligonier man died in a single-car crash in Westmoreland County this afternoon, the Westmoreland County Coroner's Office said in a press release.
Lawrence M. Habich, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner said.
The crash occurred around 4 p.m., on Nature Run Road near the intersection with Ladybug Lane in Ligonier, when Habich's vehicle left the roadway and hit multiple trees, the coroner said.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed, the coroner said.
