3 will head to trial in Wilkinsburg killing

A 17-year-old suspect from Wilkinsburg was held for trial today in the Oct. 9 killing of a Wilkinsburg man, and two others charged with him waived their preliminary hearings in Pittsburgh Municipal Court.
Jaykwaan Pinckney was ordered held for trial on charges of homicide, robbery and conspiracy in the killing of Anthony Dawson, 25, who was found shot in the head inside an apartment where he was staying in the 1000 block of South Avenue.
Allegheny County police said Mr. Pinckney and two others, Christopher Williams, 17, of Wilkinsburg, and Terrance Chatman, 20, of North Braddock, conspired to rob and kill Mr. Dawson.
Police said Mr. Pinckney told them Mr. Williams pulled the trigger.
Mr. Williams and Mr. Chatman both waived their preliminary hearings this morning.
