3 injured in Penn Hills crash

Three people were hurt when at least two cars wrecked this afternoon in Penn Hills.

The crash was reported at 2:58 p.m. at Frankstown Road near Wilson Road, an Allegheny County dispatch supervisor said.

One person was thrown from a vehicle and another person was entrapped and had to be rescued, the dispatcher said.

In all, three people were injured, the dispatcher said. One was taken to UPMC Presbyterian. It was unclear where the other two victims were taken.
