An inbound lane of West Liberty Avenue in Pittsburgh will likely remain closed through the Friday evening rush because of a water main break this morning.

Pennsylvania American Water Company spokeswoman Josephine Posti said the break, which happened near the turn onto Route 51 by the PennDOT bus ramp, has been fixed, and the water is back on.

Crews will need through Friday afternoon, though, to repave the road in that area, and the lane is expected to be closed most of the day tomorrow and possibly into rush hour.
